Was FullTilt Poker a Ponzi Scheme

The DOJ has made the claim that FTP was a ponzi scheme, but I really don’t think that it qualifies as such considering the fact of what a ponzi scheme actually is. A Ponzi scheme is essentially a fraudulent investment operation, that takes from new investors to pay past investors with a promise of unusual returns.

Just by looking at the ponzi scheme and what it is will tell you that it was not in anyway a “ponzi scheme”. While they may have been robbing Peter to pay Paul; they where not an investment scheme promising unusual returns. In fact Fulltilt never made any promises that you was going to get a return.

We can also look at this another way, when you put money into an online account. You are putting your money into a money account. An online money account is nothing less then a bank account. How much of a reserve does a bank need to operate? The big banks only need a 10% reserve on all their accounts, In fact they can even loan out money that they do not have available.

Lets say you make a $100 deposit with that $100 dollar deposit they are able to give someone else a $1000 dollar loan. And if you deposit that loan into another bank it multiples again to 10K. This can go on indefinitely in fact the banks make money out of thin air. Not that this is right but it is what goes on in the banking system.

I still cannot figure out how a bank can literally counterfeit digital money that is not theirs to begin with, when if anyone else did the same thing they would go to federal prison, do not pass go to not collect $200.

So if the bank is not doing anything illegal, how is what Fulltilt is doing anything illegal? Was what they doing any different then your friendly bank. If everyone at the bank wanted to withdraw their money the bank would not have it. In fact they would only have a fraction of that amount they would not be able to pay out.

I am really disappointed in the poker community for not taking a stand against these accusations. Where is the unity? I understand the anger I really do I'm pissed, I’m pissed because I do not have my money. I’m also angry about not being able to play poker a game that I love deeply. I feel as though my dream has been taken away from me, just when I was starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Remember that a person is innocent until proven guilty I think we forget this sometimes. Until then these are nothing but accusations. Lets remember who is involved here I personally don’t think that Howard Lederer or Chris Ferguson two of the biggest names in the poker world. Would deliberately cheat. These two guys I would trust with any amount of money and I would know that it would be safe. I’m also sure a lot of pros out their would feel the very same way.

I personally think the DOJ is trying to use smoke and mirrors to divert away from what they did on Black Friday. They know that the accounts they seized are part of the players funds and they don't care.

Who would you trust more with your money Howard and Chris or the DOJ? I know who I trust more and its not the DOJ what about you? Till next time peace :P

Chip and a Chair

 Hello back again even though Im not really sure about this blogging thing yet. But I figure what the heck I like to write its actually pretty fun. Besides what else is there to do right now, not like I have a job ;)

 Im also very hard-headed and stubborn especially when there is something I really want to do. Besides how else do you get better at something well you do it.They say practice makes perfect!

 I wasn't good at poker when I first started and depending on who you ask Im still not! (LOL Maybe that is why I get called DONK all the time QUICK Donkfest over here!!!) Honestly I think Ive done alright I had a dream and I went for it.

  Maybe it didnt turn out exactly like I planned BUT DAMN IT they make it looook sooo EZ ON TV!
besides I still got a CHIP and a chair!! I just gotta find the CHIP!! SEE I warned you I was hard-headed.

 Does anything ever turn out like you planned it? I mean if it did there would really be no Mystery in life.

And I really Love a good mystery Although drama I can do without. SO maybe I don't have it all figured out but  honestly who does?

 YES I Failed GRAMMER so if your a teacher or the Grammer police or just down right judgemental,
you might say I SUCK at this. Well I think you suck and you can kiss my @$$ cuz I really dont give a #@$% . 

 Im gonna get myself in trouble before I even start LOL *sighs* somethings never change. Now if I could just figure out how to end one of these damn things. I guess at the end of the day its really not what you think. Its what I think that matters not U! By the way this is my ranting blog ^^^^ even if it made no sense to you it did to me. Peace Out!!!

Why this blog

 Well to be truthfully honest because I dont know what the hell to do with my last blog kinda stuck. What even makes me feel like I can write and do a blog anyways? But of course I have to do something besides meditating my life away and since the DOJ took online poker away... I really must figure out something else to do with my life. Thank you uncle sam for telling me how to live my life and protect my interests like you do. Really nice of you I mean who was I to shoot for the stars and not go work 9-5?
  By the way I hope someones really enjoying my bankroll considering whoever has it had a hell of alot more money then me!! But I guess you wanted me to bow my head you the boss you know best, Ill just go get that job at mickey D's. After all someone has to clean up the mess after you PISS all over the FLOOR!
    Granted I probably wont make money blogging but its better then the options that you have left me with... CLEANUP Aisle 9 please!!! See me going to get a minimum wage Job is not going to make me happy. And no I dont wanna work for you even if I could get a job, besides all it will do is give me a pissed off attitude! So what am I going to do hell if I know but it sure is not going to be working for you.
   Im gonna do what ever I love and whatever that entails. Im done living a life of doing what other people want me to do. I got that when I was playing poker online too. WHY DONT U JUST GO GET A JOB just like everyone else has too. And if your reading this you may be saying the very same thing, Well I got one thing to say Im not everyone else. I just wanna be Happy, Free and at peace traveling the roads and doing whatever else floats my boat or flotilla at the moment.
   Besides why would I wanna go work for someone else? I just cant find the Happy in that. Until next time and remember IF you see a Hippie on the side of the road pick him up he may really need that.
