Spreading My Wings To Fly

 I just completed my first video as an application for a scholarship to the Digital Nomad Academy. Needless to say I think I am a better writer then video producer. By doing this I am really stepping out of my comfort zone to say the least.

It actually took me all day and night to get up the nerve to do this video!

Why am I telling you this? Because it shows that you can do anything that you put your heart to even if it scares the shit out of you.

By the way this is more then just an application for Digital Nomad Academy. This is me making my statement of intent, to make all my passions and dreams come true(see my Ultimate Pipe Dreams List).

Cody and everyone at DNA I hope you will do more then Just look at my video. I hope will read some more of my blog and get to Know me before you make your choice.

It may not be the best video you receive, but I hope it shows you I am dedicated to fulfilling the life of my dreams. I know I will be a value to DNA, You won't be disappointed by picking me.

Does Money Bring Happiness?

 I've never been one to think that money brings happiness, but at times I find myself chasing the money tail. Round and Round she goes where she stops nobody knows. For the life of me I can't figure out why I keep chasing it.  Is it the money Im chasing or is it something else.
 
 Let's face it they sell that dream really really well, If you have x loads of money you can have this ____. But will this really make you happy? Or will we just get on the hamster wheel again so we can get this ____. 

 Happiness where is it and how the heck do I find it? They tell me Im depressed and well getting out of bed can be really be hard at times. Why is that is it because Im really depressed? Don't worry Marty you know they have a pill for that makes you not feel a thing solves everything right. 

 I have a theory on why I get depressed, my depression stems from not doing the things I really love.
and when I dont do those things I love its fucking depressing man! See I dont want to support a society that well just doesn't match up to the same values and morals as mine.

 Sure I could probably go get a job flipping burgers but in the end I wont be happy. Sure I'll have a paycheck but then Ill feel tied down to a job that I just hate. And in the end Ill quit because the paycheck really didnt bring me what I seek.

  I see alot wrong with selling out your values just to get by. I see alot wrong with making others rich, while I on the other hand just get by. I see alot wrong with that system, and no not everyone can live like me. See I understand people have kids to feed, I on the other hand have noone but me.

  I have decided that I will do and be what makes me happy. I will go after MY dreams and passions because that is what will set me free. If you don't like that it is fine you don't have to, I wasn't put here on this earth to make you happy anyways. And besides if you really have that many issues with me then maybe you should just go meditate and take it up with the divine. See the problem is not that others may have issues with me. The real problem is when I have issues with me when all I want is to be happy and free.

The Biggest Problems I see in Internet Marketing

As some of you know I have recently Started Looking for other ways to make money online, since online poker has hit a wall. One of the most popular avenues to do that seems to be Internet Marketing. I have been doing a lot of research and meeting some really great and successful people, while researching other ways to make a living online.

I am not really new to the Internet Marketing scene, I just found a better way to make money online until now and that was Poker. Can you make money in Internet Marketing? Yes you can and some people are doing very very well.

Some of my friends from the past have done very well for themselves. But like anything it takes Time and a lot of work to actually be successful like in any area in life. If you are looking for the EZ button its not here either. But if I manage to find one I will let you know.

The Internet Marketing Arena has made a lot of changes since I have been gone. Some of them very good changes and some areas we seem to be stuck.

#1 We seem to be waking up to the fact that its not a numbers game If you are still playing by the numbers here you lose. In NETWORK marketing emphasis On network is a people game. In order to succeed You must build relationships with people and like anything else in life in order to become successful you must network with others that are successful you must network with others that are successful in your field.

This is where it becomes Really Awesome!

We are seeing it become very easy to Network connecting with others even if they are half-way around the world. It doesn't matter what you want to do in life You can connect with others that have the very same things as you. We have Social Networking now that allows you to connect with almost anybody at anytime.

But I also see an Issue with the way Network Marketers and Internet Marketers try to do this online.

Most are going about it the wrong way. Some just spam whatever they are selling in your face with no real interaction at all. Some are out there faking this interaction just to appear as if they are truly interacting, They really don't care about building relationships or Networking they really just want to sell you in the end.

If you are being Fake or just spamming stop! If you are find a link, product or business that you really like share! Why because it is a part of you and what YOU do. There is nothing wrong with sharing your business with others it is a part of you. And Please Stop building Fake relationships with others to eventually try to sell them in the end.

Social Networking should not be faked work on building real relationships based on trust and honesty. And if everything falls apart at the seams at least you will have true friends that will help you make it through the day. Peace till next time, I'm Out!

Was FullTilt Poker a Ponzi Scheme

The DOJ has made the claim that FTP was a ponzi scheme, but I really don’t think that it qualifies as such considering the fact of what a ponzi scheme actually is. A Ponzi scheme is essentially a fraudulent investment operation, that takes from new investors to pay past investors with a promise of unusual returns.

Just by looking at the ponzi scheme and what it is will tell you that it was not in anyway a “ponzi scheme”. While they may have been robbing Peter to pay Paul; they where not an investment scheme promising unusual returns. In fact Fulltilt never made any promises that you was going to get a return.

We can also look at this another way, when you put money into an online account. You are putting your money into a money account. An online money account is nothing less then a bank account. How much of a reserve does a bank need to operate? The big banks only need a 10% reserve on all their accounts, In fact they can even loan out money that they do not have available.

Lets say you make a $100 deposit with that $100 dollar deposit they are able to give someone else a $1000 dollar loan. And if you deposit that loan into another bank it multiples again to 10K. This can go on indefinitely in fact the banks make money out of thin air. Not that this is right but it is what goes on in the banking system.

I still cannot figure out how a bank can literally counterfeit digital money that is not theirs to begin with, when if anyone else did the same thing they would go to federal prison, do not pass go to not collect $200.

So if the bank is not doing anything illegal, how is what Fulltilt is doing anything illegal? Was what they doing any different then your friendly bank. If everyone at the bank wanted to withdraw their money the bank would not have it. In fact they would only have a fraction of that amount they would not be able to pay out.

I am really disappointed in the poker community for not taking a stand against these accusations. Where is the unity? I understand the anger I really do I'm pissed, I’m pissed because I do not have my money. I’m also angry about not being able to play poker a game that I love deeply. I feel as though my dream has been taken away from me, just when I was starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Remember that a person is innocent until proven guilty I think we forget this sometimes. Until then these are nothing but accusations. Lets remember who is involved here I personally don’t think that Howard Lederer or Chris Ferguson two of the biggest names in the poker world. Would deliberately cheat. These two guys I would trust with any amount of money and I would know that it would be safe. I’m also sure a lot of pros out their would feel the very same way.

I personally think the DOJ is trying to use smoke and mirrors to divert away from what they did on Black Friday. They know that the accounts they seized are part of the players funds and they don't care.

Who would you trust more with your money Howard and Chris or the DOJ? I know who I trust more and its not the DOJ what about you? Till next time peace :P

Chip and a Chair

 Hello back again even though Im not really sure about this blogging thing yet. But I figure what the heck I like to write its actually pretty fun. Besides what else is there to do right now, not like I have a job ;)

 Im also very hard-headed and stubborn especially when there is something I really want to do. Besides how else do you get better at something well you do it.They say practice makes perfect!

 I wasn't good at poker when I first started and depending on who you ask Im still not! (LOL Maybe that is why I get called DONK all the time QUICK Donkfest over here!!!) Honestly I think Ive done alright I had a dream and I went for it.

  Maybe it didnt turn out exactly like I planned BUT DAMN IT they make it looook sooo EZ ON TV!
besides I still got a CHIP and a chair!! I just gotta find the CHIP!! SEE I warned you I was hard-headed.

 Does anything ever turn out like you planned it? I mean if it did there would really be no Mystery in life.

And I really Love a good mystery Although drama I can do without. SO maybe I don't have it all figured out but  honestly who does?

 YES I Failed GRAMMER so if your a teacher or the Grammer police or just down right judgemental,
you might say I SUCK at this. Well I think you suck and you can kiss my @$$ cuz I really dont give a #@$% . 

 Im gonna get myself in trouble before I even start LOL *sighs* somethings never change. Now if I could just figure out how to end one of these damn things. Why this blog

 Well to be truthfully honest because I dont know what the hell to do with my last blog kinda stuck. What even makes me feel like I can write and do a blog anyways? But of course I have to do something besides meditating my life away and since the DOJ took online poker away... I really must figure out something else to do with my life. Thank you uncle sam for telling me how to live my life and protect my interests like you do. Really nice of you I mean who was I to shoot for the stars and not go work 9-5?
  By the way I hope someones really enjoying my bankroll considering whoever has it had a hell of alot more money then me!! But I guess you wanted me to bow my head you the boss you know best, Ill just go get that job at mickey D's. After all someone has to clean up the mess after you PISS all over the FLOOR!
    Granted I probably wont make money blogging but its better then the options that you have left me with... CLEANUP Aisle 9 please!!! See me going to get a minimum wage Job is not going to make me happy. And no I dont wanna work for you even if I could get a job, besides all it will do is give me a pissed off attitude! So what am I going to do hell if I know but it sure is not going to be working for you.
   Im gonna do what ever I love and whatever that entails. Im done living a life of doing what other people want me to do. I got that when I was playing poker online too. WHY DONT U JUST GO GET A JOB just like everyone else has too. And if your reading this you may be saying the very same thing, Well I got one thing to say Im not everyone else. I just wanna be Happy, Free and at peace traveling the roads and doing whatever else floats my boat or flotilla at the moment.
   Besides why would I wanna go work for someone else? I just cant find the Happy in that. Until next time and remember IF you see a Hippie on the side of the road pick him up he may really need that.
